Leadership Training Day Tomorrow (Updated)

The Leadership Training day is this Sunday from 0830 to 1500 and is for all levels.

Timing: 0830 to 1500
Dress: Appropriate civilian attire and running shoes

Cadets are to bring:

  • Lunch
  • Water bottle
  • Health card

We will be providing snacks only.

Drill Team Tonight, Parade Night Tomorrow, and Leadership Day – Sep 21

Happy New Year! I hope everyone had fantastic holidays, and are ready to get back into the swing of things. Cadets resumes tonight with Drill Team:

  1. Drill Team Practice Tonight 1900-2030

  2. Regular Parade Night Tomorrow

  3. Leadership Day Rescheduled to September 21
    The leadership day has been rescheduled to Sunday, September 21. Schedule and timings will be released tomorrow night.

Mess Dinner – TONIGHT @ 1730 to 2030hrs (Cadets Only)

Arrival: 1730hrs

Dismissal: 2030hrs

Dress:

  • Sgt’s and above: C8 and no wedge (same as C2, but with black bowtie, white dress shirt under tunic).
  • Everyone else: C2 (normal uniform) and no wedge.
  • Females may wear their hair down and styled.

Squadron March Break Trip Information Session – TONIGHT @ 2015hrs (Parents & Cadets)

An information session will be held following the Mess Dinner TONIGHT to provide information to interested cadets and parents at 8:15 p.m. for approximately 20 minutes with an opportunity to ask questions. A letter will be also be provided with additional information.

Make sure to wear cadet appropriate physical training wear, running shoes, bring a water bottle, and your health card.

Ice Dog Tickets – Due Tomorrow (Dec 6th)

Last chance to buy Ice Dogs tickets! Make sure to grab tickets for yourself, and your family and friends! It’s going to be a blast!

Santa Clause Parade – Saturday Dec 9th @ 1230hrs

All cadets: We will be parading in Fenwick’s Santa Clause Parade. After the parade there will be snacks and refreshments. This is a fantastic opportunity to support our local community, get the word out about Air Cadets, and have fun as a Squadron! Attendance is HIGHLY encouraged! Let’s look like the strong Squadron we are!

Mess Dinner – Wednesday Dec 13 @ 1730 to 2030hrs

This years Christmas Mess Dinner is on Wednesday December 13th from 1730-2030 (5:30-8:30PM). For the new cadets that have never been to a traditional mess:

“A Mess Dinner, originating over 200 years ago, is one of the most coveted and important traditions of the Canadian Forces. It is a time to appreciate the comradeship and company of fellow service members and guests and to savour fine cuisine in an elegant setting. Tradition remains to this day one of the prime ingredients in air cadet esprit de-corps.”
