AIR CADET UNIFORM – NUMBERED ORDERS OF DRESS AIR CADET UNIFORM –
NUMEROUS OUTFITS

C1 COMPOSITION OPPORTUNITIES
Ceremonial Dress
Uniform Ceremony
Wedge, shirt with necktie, jacket, trousers or slacks with belt, boots and gray wool socks.

  1. Worn with medals and pins on the jacket
  2. Worn with cloth or embroidered pilot wings on the jacket but not the metal pilot wings
  3. Name tag may be worn on the jacket at the discretion of the squadron CO
  1. formal ceremonies or parades
  2. guard of Honor
  3. church services parades
  4. funerals
  5. other occasions as ordered
Calot, shirt with tie, jacket, pants with belt, boots and gray woolen stockings

  1. Worn with medals and pins on the jacket
  2. Worn with embroidered pilot wings or fabric on jacket but not pilot wings made of metal
  3. The identity badge may be worn on the jacket at the discretion of the squadron CO
  1. ceremonies or parades
  2. guards of honor
  3. ceremonies and religious processions
  4. funeral
  5. other occasions according to orders received

C2 COMPOSITION OPPORTUNITIES
Routine Training Dress
Current Dress For Training
Same as C1, except that the medal ribbons replaces the medals.
  1. routine training dress for day to day
  2. routine parades
  3. social opportunities
  4. must be worn while traveling to and from the CSTC
  5. other occasions as ordered
Like the C1, except the medal ribbons replace the medals.
  1. daily wear for daily training
  2. routine parades
  3. social gatherings
  4. must be worn when traveling to and from the ICCS
  5. other occasions according to orders received

C2A COMPOSITION OPPORTUNITIES
Routine Training Dress
Current Dress For Training
Same as C2, without the jacket.

  1. Rank slip-ons should be worn on the shirt
  2. Medal ribbons and the Cadet Certificate of Commendation
  3. Metal wings may be worn on the shirt, but not the cloth or embroidered pilot wings
  4. Name tag may be on the shirt at the discretion of the squadron CO
  1. may be authorized, all year round, for indoor training
  2. not to be worn when traveling or outside of the squadron training area
  3. other occasions as ordered
Like the C2, without the jacket.

  1. The grade removable shoulder pads should be worn on the shirt
  2. The medal ribbons and cadet quote pin may be worn on the shirt
  3. The metal pilot wings can be worn on the shirt, but not the pilot wings in fabric or embroidered
  4. The identity card may be worn on the shirt at the discretion of the squadron CO
  1. may be authorized, throughout the year, for indoor training
  2. may not be worn when traveling or outside the training premises of the squadron
  3. other occasions according to orders received
C2B COMPOSITION OPPORTUNITIES
Routine Training Dress

Same as C2A, without the tie.
  1. during summer dress period at the squadron:
    1. routine training dress for day to day,
    2. routine parades, and
    3. appropriate social occasions.
  2. year round for indoor training
  3. other occasions as ordered
Like the C2A, without the tie.
  1. during the summer squadron holding period:
    1. running dress for everyday training,
    2. routine parades, and
    3. social gatherings.
  2. all year round for indoor training
  3. other occasions according to orders received
