REMINDERS – If you are purchasing tickets for the Annual Ceremonial Review Dinner, please bring in your money (adults $14.00, cadets and children under 12 $7.00) THERE WILL BE NO TICKETS SOLD AT THE DOOR.

Friday, May 13 – Niagara Air Group Field Training Exercise, Cave Springs Camp Jordan
Cadets are to be at the cadet hall for 6:00 p.m. having already eaten dinner and all the required kit as per the list distributed last week. YOU MUST HAVE YOUR HEALTH CARD, WATER BOTTLE, A TRAVEL MUG FOR HOT DRINKS, AND RAIN GEAR (we train rain or shine and they are calling for rain).

Additional information will be provided.

Notes:

Annual Ceremonial Review – Saturday, May 28 – Cadets are required to be at the cadet hall for 8:00 a.m. in civilian attire with their uniforms in a garment bag. The Review will start promptly at 1:45 p.m.

Excellent job 87 Eagle Squadron Drill Team. The Drill Team had an OUTSTANDING showing at the Western Ontario Area Drill Competition. We are eagerly waiting the results.

The staff is so proud of all your hard work.

Western Ontario Area Drill Team Competition Information

As a reminder to cadets – Cadets should be at Niagara Region Headquarters on Saturday, May 7 for 5:45 p.m. (bus is scheduled to depart at 6:00 p.m). Make sure you have already had dinner or bring it with you.

Cadets need the following:
Uniform – MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ALL THE PARTS
HEALTH CARD
Towel(s) (bedding is supplied but not towels)
Water bottle
Activities (cards, games, etc)
Snacks (optional)
Money (for canteen)

Cadets are authorized to travel in civilian clothing.

Parents If you are planning on coming to watch, please be advised that the Drill portion of the competition will be taking place at John Paul II Catholic Secondary School (1300 Oxford Street East, London). If you take the Highbury Avenue exit off the 401, the school is at the intersection of Highbury and Oxford Street. Please see attached maps. Band and Drill 2016 – Campus Map Bus Route

Currently we are scheduled to compete at 8:55 a.m. however this may CHANGE. Should the time change, I will add an updated post.

We are scheduled to depart London at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, so will be back at Niagara Region Headquarters between 4:00 and 4:30 p.m.
