I hope everyone is enjoying the final couple of weeks of summer. In order to prepare for the upcoming training year we will be holding a mandatory meeting for ALL CADETS GOING INTO LEVEL THREE AND ABOVE on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at the cadet hall from 6:30 – 8:45 p.m. No uniforms required, just a pen and paper and your ideas for the upcoming training year. If you are unable to attend please let Captain Norio or Lieutenant Bowman know.

Saturday, September 10 – Cenotaph Dedication Ceremony Old Pelham Town Hall 10:30 a.m.
Sunday, September 25 – Battle of Britain Parade and Ceremony 12:30 p.m. Welland Legion
Details and permission slip for the year end trip 17 – 18 Jun at Fallsview Waterpark Niagara Falls are attached.
Payment is due next Wednesday, June 8.

Announcments
The Parents Sponsoring Committee will be holding a Garage Sale on Sunday, June 12 from 9:00 – 3:00 p.m. at the Welland Legion. You can purchase a table to sell your items or if you have items you would like to donate to be sold, please bring them to the cadet hall tonight or next Wednesday, June 8. If you require pick up of items please contact Mrs. Kelder at 905-347-3794.
Sunday, June 5 – Decoration Day Parade Welland Legion – Cadets are required to arrive for 12:30 p.m. in full uniform. A short ceremony will be held at the cenotaph in front of the Legion with refreshments to follow. Parade attendance is mandatory.
Wednesday, June 8 – Cadets attending Summer Training will be provided Joining Instructions and parents can stop by to ask questions.
Year End Trip – The Squadron has planned a year end trip on Friday, June 17 (6:00 p.m.) overnight to Saturday, June 18 (9:00 p.m.) at the Fallsview Waterpark. Details will be sent home with cadets tonight. Cost will be $30.00 per cadet and money is due on Wednesday, June 8. Cadets will be responsible for their own lunch and dinner.

Wednesday, May 25 – Regular Parade Night 6:30 – 9:00 p.m.
Saturday, May 28 – 75th Annual Ceremonial Review
Cadets are to arrive at hall for 8:00 am in appropriate civilian clothing with their uniform (all parts) in a garment bag. Don’t forget your boots and wedge. Cadets are reminded to bring a sweater, water bottle and snacks. Lunch will be provided.
The Review will start promptly at 1:45 p.m. Parents should plan to be there for 1:30 p.m.
