Announcements – Week of September 26

Wednesday, September 27, 2016 – Dress will be C2 (tunic and tie), please bring your cadet fleece or appropriate jacket to wear if required.

NCO Meeting – there will be an NCO meeting immediately following cadets. This is for cadets at the rank of Sergeant and above. Please advise your parents to pick you up at 9:30 p.m.

Upcoming Activities:

Tagging – October 6, 7 and 8. Out of five scheduled shifts cadets are expected to do three. If this is not possible, please discuss with Captain Norio.

If you have yet to return your Annual Validation Form – get it in along with your registration fee.

To all those cadets and parents who attended the 75th Battle of Britain Ceremony on Sunday. Activities like this showcase not only who we are but demonstrate we are active in the community. Taking a couple of hours out of your time to honour our veterans is a small sacrifice.

Wainfleet Fall Fair Opening Parade

Cadets who are attending the Wainfleet Fall Fair Opening Parade are to meet at the Wainfleet Fire Hall for 5:30 p.m. Capt Marshall from 79 Sqn will be there to meet you. Dress is summer dress.

Activities – Week of September 19

Wednesday, September 21 – Regular Parade Night – Summer dress – no tunic, no tie. Returning cadets – remember to bring in your validation forms and registration fee if you haven’t already.

Thursday, September 22 – Wainfleet Fall Fair Opening Ceremonies – Wainfleet Cenotaph 5:30 p.m. (approximately 1 hour)

Sunday, September 25 – Battle of Britain Parade Welland Legion 383 Morningstar Avenue 12:30 p.m. Full Dress Uniform Mandatory Participation

Welland Fair and Food Fest

For those cadets that have signed up please ensure you bring a water bottle and snacks. You will be given an opportunity for a break and to go get something to eat. For the cadets on the shifts during the day, it is supposed to be hot, make sure you wear sunscreen. All cadets are to be in summer dress and are allowed to wear their cadet fleece if necessary.
