A special thank you to those cadets (and parents) who took time out of their busy schedules on Saturday to attend the re-dedication ceremony of the WW1 Cenotaph and unveiling of the refurbished Trench Mortar in front of the Old Pelham Town Hall. The hour or so we spent there in the rain to honour those who fought for us seems to pale in comparison to the sacrifices made by the men and women who fought and died for our country.

Upcoming Activities:

Wednesday, September 14 – Regular Parade Night – summer dress (no tunic, no tie)

Thursday, September 15 – Ground School at our cadet hall 6:30 – 9:00 p.m.

We have been asked to help with parking and traffic duties for the Welland Fair and Food Festival at the Quaker Road entrance to the Sportsplex. We need 3-4 cadets per shift (an adult supervisor will be on-site for each shift). Uniforms required (summer dress with fleece if needed). Your shift can count towards your community service hours. Cenotaph Dedication – Saturday, September 10
