On Saturday, November 11, Cadets are to required attend ONE of the three Remembrance Day Services the Squadron will be supporting. Attendance will be taken at each location. Cadets are to arrive NO LATER THAN 10:30 a.m. in dress C1A with cadet parkas (if issued or civilian winter jacket) and black gloves. (DRESS FOR THE WEATHER – this is outdoors). All services start promptly at 10:45 a.m.


Welland – Welland Legion Br 4 – 383 Morningstar Ave – Officer in Charge – Capt Bowman

Port Colborne – City of Port Colborne Cenotaph, H.H. Knoll Park, Port Colborne – Officer in Charge – Capt Silva

Wainfleet – Wainfleet Fire Hall (short march from Fire Hall to Cenotaph) – Officer in Charge – Capt Norio

VIGIL CADETS – The cadets who will be undertaking the vigil have been selected. There will be a practice on Friday, November 10 at the Cadet Hall from 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Parents are welcome to stay for the services.

Update – Gliding This Afternoon

Although the weather has hampered the ability for gliders flights, it appears the rain will conitnue to hold off which will allow cadets to fly in the towplane. If you are on the schedule to fly this afternoon please be at the cadet hall for 12:45 p.m.

Where: Robert Land Academy (6727 South Chippawa Rd, Wellandport). Drop off/pick up will be via the 3rd driveway (competition being held in the gym).

Time: Arrival no later than 8:00 a.m., Pick Up: 2:00 p.m.

Dress is appropriate civilian attire. Please bring your health card, water bottle, snacks and activities for down time (i.e. board games, cards). Lunch will be provided. Unfortunately there is no area for parent viewing. Please direct any questions to Captain Norio.
