As was mentioned at the NCO meeting, current F/Sgts are eligible to be interviewed for promotion to WO2. The interviews will take place on Tuesday, December 20 at 6:30 p.m. Dress will be C1. Those F/Sgts interested in being considered for promotion MUST provide their names to Lt. Bowman on Wednesday, December 14, 2016. Interviews will take approximately 10-15 minutes and will ask leadership, behavioural and general knowledge cadet related questions.

It is suggested you review your Level Four and Five notes in order to prep for the interviews.

For those cadets that are applying for National Courses, the OPC has just published a booklet of supplemental information regarding the narrative and interview questions.

Please verify that your narratives fit within the requirements and if not please make any changes. The last date to provide me with the narratives will be December 21, 2016.

Cadets are to meet at Bethany Christian Reform Church (1086 Balfour St., Fenwick) for 12:15 p.m. on Saturday, December 10, 2016. Make sure you wear layers under your uniform, we will have extra parkas for cadets who do not have one. Bring plain black gloves. The parade will head North on Balfour Street to Canboro Road, West on Canboro Road to Church Street, North on Church Street to Centennial Park (999 Church St., Fenwick). Pick up should be at approximately 2:00 p.m. at Centennial Park.

The Mess Dinner is being held tonight at the Welland Legion – 383 Morningstar Avenue.
Cadets are to be in either C2 dress (tunic and tie, ribbons and no nametag or wedge) or C8 Mess Dress (Same as C2, except that the white collar dress shirt with black bow tie replaces the shirt and tie).

Cadets are to arrive at 6:00 p.m. and pick up will be 8:30 p.m.

Dress for the Mess Dinner on Wednesday is C-2 (tunic and tie, ribbons NOT medals), no wedge and no name tag.

Both male and female cadets, if they wish, may wear a plain white collared dress shirt with a plain black bow tie (cadet mess kit); this is optional.

Females may wear their hair down and styled.
