1. Trivia Night a Giant Success: The SSC will make an official announcement on Wednesday, however, as a quick preview the Trivia Night was an awesome success!

Thank you to the volunteers, cadets who helped setup, the trivia master, the Legion, anyone who donated, and of course the attendees for your support! It is through your hardwork and dedication that made the event so successful, and made for such a wonderful evening!

2. Little Caesars Fundraiser online ordering open until Thursday: A reminder that our Little Caesars fundraiser is open until Thursday at midnight. Details:

• Go to PizzaKit.ca
• Click on Products then click Shop
• Enter Fundraiser ID # 378290
• Follow prompts to create your User ID

Quick reminder for everyone: Little Caesars fundraiser orders are due tonight.

Good afternoon all, just a friendly reminder for drill team members. There is a practice tonight at the cadet hall. Bring warm clothing, boots, wedge/ winter hat, gloves, and anything else to keep you warm. See you all tonight at 1830 hrs.

All Level 3’s and up that are interested in C7 training this year please reach out to Capt Bowman directly via Slack by end of day today. Any cadets that miss the deadline will not be able to participate this year.

• Training will take place on a Wednesday within the next 3 weeks at the Lake St. Armoury in St Catharines.
• Preference will be given to cadets that have not completed any C7 familiarization in the past, although all cadets are encouraged to sign up.
• Open to all cadets Level 3 and up.

The C7 (aka the Colt Canada C7 rifle) is the Canadian version of the M16A3, and is primary assault rifle of the Canadian Forces. We will be learning about the C7, safety, and working our way towards firing it on the SAT range (a virtual firing range with the actual rifle outfitted with electronics to simulate firing, jams, and work on aiming).

Cadets interested are to Direct Message Capt Bowman via Slack before midnight tonight.

Announcements

Little Caesars Fundraiser – Get your orders in on Wednesday: Little Caesars granted us an extension for the fundraiser since we had to cancel last week due to weather:

• Deadline extended until this Wednesday (Mar 4) for ordering.
• Online ordering option will remain open until Mar 12 at midnight.
• Delivery will still be on March 27th, time TBD.

Trivia Night this Saturday: For all those that purchased tickets, thank you again, we are looking forward to a great night full of fun and laughter!

Parents/Guardians: The monthly Squadron Sponsoring Committee meeting is taking place in classroom 3 at 1830. The committee discusses fundraising, finances, building, and other activities. Any interested parents/guardians are encouraged to attend as the SSC discusses items that directly affect your cadets.
