The Cadet Program is one of the largest federally sponsored youth programs in Canada. It is a national program for young Canadians aged 12 to 18 who are interested in participating in a variety of fun, challenging and rewarding activities.

If you have not yet returned your OPC tickets, please bring them with you when you report for your tagging shift. These tickets need to be returned ASAP so they can be sent to Toronto to be included in the draw.

Tuesday, March 22 – Drill Team Practice 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. Bring your wedges and boots.
TAGGING INFORMATION: Cadets reporting for their Tagging Shift are required to be in full uniform (plain black gloves are allowed and if you have a cadet jacket wear it). PARENTS are to accompany their cadet to the tagging headquarters so that you may drive your cadet to their assigned location if needed.
Tagging Headquarters is located in the Seaway Mall in a vacant store across from the Community Booth near Customer Service- enter through CIBC entrance and turn left, store will be on right side.

Tagging dates and times:
Wednesday, March 23 – 5:00 – 9:00 p.m.
Thursday, March 24 – 5:00 – 9:00 p.m
Saturday, March 26 – 9:00 a.m – 12:00 and 1:00 p.m.-4:30 p.m. (lunch will be provided for those cadets tagging the entire day)
Cadets will be tagging on Wednesday, March 23, Thursday, March 24 and Saturday, March 26. Sign up sheets will be available tonight – this will be the only opportunity to sign up as there isn’t cadets next week due to March Break. All cadets are reminded that there is a requirement to complete 3 tagging shifts unless alternate arrangements have been made with the CO. The funds raised from tagging are used for things like the March Break trip – maximum participation is encouraged.
**RETURN OF OPC TICKETS** If you have not yet returned your tickets THEY MUST BE RETURNED ON WEDNESDAY so they can be returned to OPC for the draw.

Thursday, March 10 – Sports at Youngs Sportsplex (off Woodlawn) 6:30-7:30 p.m.(1 HOUR ONLY) Make sure you are wearing appropriate sports attire, have a water bottle and your HEALTH CARD.
