We have fitness testing tonight so make sure to wear sports wear and not uniforms. Also be sure to bring a water bottle.
Tonight there is an NCO meeting at 1800hrs sharp. Be there for 1745hrs so we can start right away.
We will be marching in the Welland Santa Claus Parade.
The Parade Starts at 1600hrs 18-Nov-2017
Arrive no later than 1530hrs at the Welland Canadian Tire Financial Service parking lot (corner of East Main st and Wellington st). Pick up will be at the St Bethany`s church Parking lot on Division st at approx 1715hrs.
There will be a flag party along with a Flight marching. Need to know numbers on how many will be parading and who has flag party experience. A couple of parents would be great to have along to help hand out cards. Contact OCDT Morrow.
Dress will be C-1 according to Weather. If any kit is needed see supply Officer on 15-Nov-2017.

REMEMBRANCE DAY SERVICE
This years Remembrance Day service will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 4, on Morningstar Avenue, Welland. Service begins at 10:45am, so please be there by 10:30am.
Timing: 1030-1130hrs
Location: Royal Canadian Legion – Branch 4, 383 Morningstar Ave, Welland, ON L3B 5B5
Dress: Full uniform (C1), winter jackets

STATUS OF NEW UNIFORMS FOR NEW CADETS
We are waiting for a large shipment from supply before we can issue new uniforms. It is backordered, however, should be shipping very soon. We apologize for the new recruits who have been waiting so long, and thank everyone for their patience. We hope to have uniforms given out ASAP.

Due to the forecast of 80-100% chance of thunderstorms all day tomorrow, the Legion in Welland has decided to cancel the Remembrance Day Parade that was scheduled to take place at 1:45PM at the Cenotaph .
The Remembrance Day Service at 10:45am at the Legion on Saturday (November 11th) has NOT been cancelled, and is still scheduled to take place. Likely it will not be cancelled but instead moved indoors if it is storming out again.
