Parade Night Tonight Update

All;

Tonight’s parade night will be our end of year pizza party!

Dress: Civilian
Timing: 1830-2100hrs

Summer Course Uniform and Info Session:

For those cadets that have been selected to attend summer camp, we will have an info sessions in the coming weeks (TBA) where we will also be handing out uniforms.

For those cadets that are still on a waitlist, if you are selected, you will be contacted directly Capt. Norio or myself.

Medeba Trip – Final Details

  • Arrive at Centennial High School for 4:45 p.m. on Friday, June 7 (DO NOT ARRIVE BEFORE 4:30)
  • Have dinner before getting on the bus or bring it with you.
  • Kit list items are mandatory – make sure you have a refillable water bottle, hat, sunscreen, HEALTH CARD
  • We will be stopping on the way there and back and Medeba has a kit shop, so please bring money for any purchases.
  • Nice to know details – there are showers, sleeping quarters will be cabins, there is no Wi-Fi on the bus or at Medeba. Snacks are allowed.

Here are the routine orders for remainder of this week:

1. Sports and Fitness Night – Wednesday

There are two more parade nights left for training this year. Tonight will be a sports and fitness night:

2. Medeba Adventure Camp – Friday to Sunday

Friday Drop-off:

Timing: 1630hrs
Location: Centennial Secondary School
Notes: Must be in possession of your health card, permission slip (if not submitted already), and have had dinner or have it with you to eat on the bus.

Annual Ceremonial Review VENUE CHANGE

All;

Due to the inclement weather forecast for this Saturday, we have decided to move the venue for Annual. Our new location is:

Meridian Community Centre (Accipiter Arena)
100 Meridian Way, Fonthill Ontario

Cadets are expected at the Meridian Community Centre at 0830hrs, ready for practice with uniform in hand. Details have been reposted below for your convenience.

Guests are welcome at 1330hrs (1:30PM) to find seating.

Information for Cadets

All cadets are to be at the arena at 0830hrs Saturday morning with:

  • Health card;
  • Civilian clothing;
  • Uniform in a garment bag (C1, ceremonial dress);
  • Completed static displays; and
  • Have had breakfast.

Important Notes

  • Annual Ceremonial Review (ACR) is a mandatory parade for all cadets. Cadets must attend in order to complete their level, and go into the subsequent level next year. If you are unable to attend, you must request permission from the CO, in-writing;
  • Arrive in civilian clothing for practice. You will be getting changed after lunch into the uniform of the day, personal belongings can be locked in the change rooms for safety; and
  • Lunch will be provided.
