There is a winter storm tracking towards us, and with expected rain mixed with snow, roads could get very hazardous on the commute to and from the hall this evening. On top of that, Environment Canada has upped their special weather statement to a snowfall warning.

Therefore, we have made the decision to cancel training for tonight. The Training Officer will update instructors on how it will affect upcoming weeks, and also watch for an update from the Squadron Sponsoring Committee regarding Little Caesars fundraising orders.

There will be a Range Team Practice tonight from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Cadet Hall. The competition is on Saturday, February 29 at the Lake Street Armoury. Arrival time is 8:00 a.m. More details will be provided on Wednesday.

Tomorrow is a mandatory event for all cadets. The weekend will be full of practicing marksmanship on the range, studying aviation topics, and having fun.

Location: 87 LHQ
Drop-off: Saturday at 0730hrs
Pickup: Sunday at 1200hrs
Dress: Civis (cadet appropriate)
Bring: Health card, water bottle, hot coffee mug, sleeping gear, air mattress (optional), toiletries, change of clothes for Sunday, etc. See kit list for all details.
Note: Eat breakfast before you come on Saturday. You will be fed lunch and dinner on Saturday, and breakfast on Sunday.

Level 1s: Bring 2 litre plastic water bottles.

Make sure to bring your signed permission forms or have your parent/guardian come in to sign one.
