Reminders for the week of June 21

Three important reminders for this week:

1. Pickup Details for Big Red Orders

Reminder from the Sponsoring Committee: Orders must be picked up June 26 between 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM at Canadian Tire Auto Service (the shop). Note the new pickup time of 3:00 PM versus 2:00 PM.

2. All cadets that joined cadets this year are reminded to vote!

Attention all cadets that joined us this year, please use the following form to vote for the NCO (Level 4 or higher cadet) that has shown the most kindness and went above and beyond to welcome new cadets to the Squadron.

Virtual Awards Ceremony 2020 – Wed June 24 at 1830hrs

In light of the fact we cannot be together for our Annual Ceremonial Review this year, we will be hosting a virtual Award Ceremony to recognize the 2019-20 training year, your achievements and the hard work you put in this year!

All are invited to “attend” the award ceremony: cadets, parents, and family members.

The event will live stream on YouTube Live on June 24 at 1830hrs. Afterwards, we will have an open chat night on Zoom with the entire Squadron.

Virtual Parade Night – Tie-Breaker Tonight!

If you missed last weeks Virtual Parade Night, here are just some of the highlights:

  1. WOI Norio continued the game of Jeopardy! where the Level 1, 2, and 5s versus the Level 3 and 4s tied up the score!
  2. Questions in the game got more difficult, with a ground school topic!

This week we will be completing our trilogy Jeopardy! series in a tie-breaker, followed by an open chat afterwards.

If you have not connected with us yet on a Wednesday night, spare an hour or so and join us via Zoom!

Virtual Parade Night – Tonight at 1830hrs

For security purposes, once you join you will have to set your name. Set it to “Rank + Last name” (i.e. FCpl Bloggins). If you do not set your name, you will not be permitted to join the call.

Dress: Appropriate civilian attire/cadet t-shirts/cadet hoodies
When: Wednesday at 1830–2000hrs

  2. WOII Norio hosted an excited game of Jeopardy!
