Tagging Information

All;

The tagging headquarters will be located at the Seaway Mall in the boardroom above Ye Olde Squire (mall front entrance). There will also be an SSC member or Officer on the main floor at the community booth.

Parents/Guardians: Please come in with your cadet in order to drive your cadet to their tagging location, and pick them up at the end of their shift to be back at the mall for the end of the shift (ie. pick up at 8:45PM to be back at 9:00PM at the mall).

Cadets:

  • If you have signed up for a tagging shift, it is important to be there!
  • You are to be in full uniform (C3B), as you are representing the cadet program, and are to act in a courteous manner that reflects positively on the program.
  • Cell phone use is strictly prohibited unless used for coordinating box pick up, ride, or in the case of an emergency.
  • SSC members and Officers will be circulating locations in case you need a new box.

Tagging will take place on the following dates:

Thursday: 1700–2100hrs
Friday AM: 1300–1630hrs
Friday PM: 1700–2100hrs
Saturday AM: 900–1200hrs
Saturday PM: 1300–1630hrs

Tagging is our largest fundraiser of the year, so LET’S MAKE IT AWESOME!

Reminder of what the uniform means:

Reminder to be on your best behaviour while tagging; while wearing a uniform you are representing not only yourself and the cadets, but also the women and men that served and continue to serve our country. You might be surprised to learn the background of the person you are asking for donations from, the uniform might mean a lot to them. Keep in mind the public is watching you, and we want to continue to have reports of awesome behaviour from our cadets. Be proud to wear a uniform, and be proud to be a Royal Canadian Air Cadet!

Reminder: Tonights Parent/Guardian Info Session

All;

Just a reminder about tonight’s Parent/Guardian info session from 7:00–8:30 at the hall.

Bring your questions. Coffee/tea and light snacks provided. We strongly encourage all parents/guardians to attend. Cadet attendance is not required.

Hope to see everyone there,

Capt. Bowman
