We just received word that vaccinations are no longer required for the Niagara Garrison activity. All cadets that are year 2 and up are now able to signup.

As previously announced in the Monthly Routine Order, this exercise will be conducted with all units in the Niagara Region. It will be conducted outdoors, rain or shine, and cadets will be sleeping outside in tents (provided). Unfortunately cadets that just joined are unable to attend due to time constraints.
Dropoff: 16 Sept 22, 5:15PM
Cadets to be dropped off at the cadet hall. YOU MUST BE IN POSSESSION OF YOUR HEALTH CARD, WEARING FTUs (IF ISSUED) AND HAVE HAD DINNER. BUS DEPARTS AT 5:30 PM.

A quick reminder that all cadets are back at the cadet hall starting tomorrow evening. Details were provided in the Monthly Routine Orders (ROs). If you have yet to read them, they are available here: Routine-Order-No-09-22

Screening: Cadets are reminded to stay home if you feel unwell. The Ontario screening online tool (https://covid-19.ontario.ca/school-screening/) is available if you are unsure if you should attend.
Masks: Masks will be required inside classroom spaces (classrooms 1-3). They will not be required on the parade square or outside, however, all cadets and visitors are welcome to wear a mask at any time.
Social Distancing: Social distancing is still in affect as much as possible. Bathrooms are limited to 1 person at a time, and occupancy limits are posted on classroom doors. We will also be doing the majority of our training outside, or with windows and doors open to increase ventilation.
As always, we are committed to making training safe, and fun for all cadets. Questions can be directed to any 87 staff member.

We are excited to announce the Niagara Garrison FTX (Field Training Exercise) weekend that will take place from Sept 16-18. With 18 cadet units from Niagara and beyond, and around 490 cadets and staff expected to be in attendance, this is the largest joint training exercise we have seen in Niagara in many years.
Details:
What: Large training exercise including Air, Sea, and Army cadets participating in outdoor training
Timing: Friday Sept 16 around 1800hrs to Sunday around 1600hrs
Location: St. Anns, Ontario
Dress: FTU
Bring: Kit list will be provided
All cadets are expected to attend. Book off work, and make yourself available if you can. Details for transportation and timing will be released shortly!
