Announcements

  1. All: Annual Validation Forms, mandatory events, and fees package will be distributed on Wednesday.
  2. All: We are back in uniform as of Wednesday, make sure you work on them this week to get ready. Squadron command will be doing an inspection.
  3. Level 5s: This year you will be doing OJT (On-the-Job-Training) in admin, training, and supply. For a first this year, we will be pairing 2 cadets into each OJT position at a time:
    1. Each cadet will need to report to the Orderly office at the beginning of the night for assignment of tasks;
    2. Throughout the evening, when you are not teaching, you are to report back to the Orderly office for any additional tasks;
    3. All other Level 5s that are not on OJT or teaching, are to report to their respective chain-of-command for tasks. There are always tasks to do!

It was stated that cadets were to wear summer dress. The correct dress will be full (with tunics).

Open House Recap:

  • Thank you to everyone that helped make the Open House such a success!

Battle of Britain Parade this Sunday:

  • The mandatory Battle of Britain Parade will start promptly at 1300hrs on Sunday at the Legion in Welland;
  • Dress will be C2 – summer dress unless otherwise noted before the parade;
  • Arrive no later than 1245hrs, ready to form up on the parking lot side;
  • Make sure to have eaten lunch first;
  • Bring your health cards;
  • Refreshments and food will be served inside the Legion following the parade;
  • All are welcome to stay and watch the ceremony.
