A message from the Squadron Sponsoring Committee

Hello All and Welcome to the 2021-2022 Cadet Training Season! (In-Person Part 2!)

On behalf of the Squadron Sponsoring Committee (Parent Committee), welcome back to our returning Cadets and families and welcome to out new Cadets and families as well.  With the challenges of the past two years and a program that has been mostly virtual, it has been difficult to come together as a cadet family, and there is some important information to share..

Cadets during March Break

All;

Happy March break to all cadet families. Normally, the Squadron also takes this week off from normal training, and in years past we have gone on March break trips, or hosted fun nights.

You may have noticed this months Routine Orders (ROs) include a parade night, in-uniform, this Wednesday. Since we have missed a large portion of our training nights for this year, we decided to keep the momentum going and not take a break.

With that said, this Wednesday is non-mandatory; meaning that cadets that do not attend will not be negatively affected on their attendance records. We are asking that cadets that cannot attend to email 87air@cadets.gc.ca

Here are this weeks details:

Parade Night – Wednesday
Timing: 1830–2100hrs
Dress: FTUs
Duty Officer: Capt Bowman
Duty NCO: Sgt Stelmaschuk

We hope to see most of you this Wednesday,

Capt C. Bowman
Commanding Officer
