The Cadet Program is one of the largest federally sponsored youth programs in Canada. It is a national program for young Canadians aged 12 to 18 who are interested in participating in a variety of fun, challenging and rewarding activities.

We are looking for 10-12 Level 3 and above cadets to serve lunch at the Legion on Sunday, November 9 at 11:30am. Lunch will be provided to you after.
This is a great way to get some community service hours. Please see Capt. Norio if you are interested.
The CO Parade has been rescheduled to Nov 12 instead of next week. Revised WTRs are attached.
Fall Annual General Meeting for all parents is Wednesday Nov 5 at 1830 at the Airport Administration Building (Trailer).
87 Eagle Sqn will be participating in the Remembrance Day Parade on Sunday, November 2nd to take place at Chippawa Park at 1:45pm.
Make sure that you wear full-uniform, parka (if you have one), and black gloves.
ALL cadets are encouraged to attend.
Please be advised there will be a mandatory meeting for Sgts and Above on Wednesday at 9:00 PM. Please make arrangements to be picked up at 9:30 pm on Wednesday. If you are not able to stay you must let Capt. Norio know.
87 Eagle Squadron will be gliding on Saturday, October 18. Priority will be given to new cadets and Level 2 cadets. If spots are available other cadets can sign up. Cadets are to meet at the cadet hall for 8:45 a.m. Your enrolment paperwork (for new cadets) and your annual validation form (for all other levels) MUST be completed or you will not be allowed to fly.
You need to bring the following:
Warm clothes – it is typically much colder out on the airfield than in the city. Gliding Centre Staff will not allow you on the field if you are not dressed properly. (Warm jacket, hat, gloves, boots as grass is typically wet in the morning)
Water Bottle
HEALTH CARD
If you think gliding is not happening due to weather, please check the website before heading to the airport. Any cancellation notices will be posted.
