Announcments – Week of October 10

Wednesday, October 12 – Regular Training Night – dress is C2 (tunic and tie)

Saturday, October 15 – Gliding – meet at cadet hall for 12:45 p.m. Cadets must have a VALID health card with them to participate (as for all cadet activities). Preference will be given to Level 1 cadets or those who have not flown before. A sign up sheet will be out on Wednesday.

Wednesday, October 5 – Regular Parade Night – Uniform C2 (tunic and tie)

Tagging Information:

Tagging will be taking place on the following dates and times:

Thursday, October 6 – 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Friday, October 7 – 1:00 – 4:30 and 5:00 – 9:00 p.m.
Saturday, October 8 – 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 and 1:00 – 4:30 p.m.

Our tagging headquarters will be at the Seaway Mall inside the vacant store beside Boathouse (enter through main doors by CIBC, Boathouse is just up from HealthWise on the left side). PARENTS ARE TO ACCOMPANY THEIR CADET TO THE HEADQUARTERS LOCATION AS DO WE REQUIRE PARENT DRIVERS.

Cadets are to tag in uniform – plain black gloves are allowed if needed. If you do not have a cadet jacket you may wear a civilian jacket. It is okay to add layers under your tunic if needed. For those new cadets that do not have uniforms, please wear appropriate civilian attire, you will be paired up with a cadet in uniform.

Cadets are expected to do three tagging shifts unless alternate arrangements have been discussed with Capt Norio.

This is our major squadron fundraiser, let’s all contribute to make this a successful tag days!

Announcements – Week of September 26

Wednesday, September 27, 2016 – Dress will be C2 (tunic and tie), please bring your cadet fleece or appropriate jacket to wear if required.

NCO Meeting – there will be an NCO meeting immediately following cadets. This is for cadets at the rank of Sergeant and above. Please advise your parents to pick you up at 9:30 p.m.

Upcoming Activities:

Tagging – October 6, 7 and 8. Out of five scheduled shifts cadets are expected to do three. If this is not possible, please discuss with Captain Norio.

If you have yet to return your Annual Validation Form – get it in along with your registration fee.

To all those cadets and parents who attended the 75th Battle of Britain Ceremony on Sunday. Activities like this showcase not only who we are but demonstrate we are active in the community. Taking a couple of hours out of your time to honour our veterans is a small sacrifice.

Wainfleet Fall Fair Opening Parade

Cadets who are attending the Wainfleet Fall Fair Opening Parade are to meet at the Wainfleet Fire Hall for 5:30 p.m. Capt Marshall from 79 Sqn will be there to meet you. Dress is summer dress.

Activities – Week of September 19

Wednesday, September 21 – Regular Parade Night – Summer dress – no tunic, no tie. Returning cadets – remember to bring in your validation forms and registration fee if you haven’t already.

Thursday, September 22 – Wainfleet Fall Fair Opening Ceremonies – Wainfleet Cenotaph 5:30 p.m. (approximately 1 hour)

Sunday, September 25 – Battle of Britain Parade Welland Legion 383 Morningstar Avenue 12:30 p.m. Full Dress Uniform Mandatory Participation
