Poppying will take place on the following dates and times:
Thursday, November 3 – 5:00 – 8:30 p.m.
Friday, November 4 – 5:00 – 8:30 p.m.
Saturday, November 5 – 9:00 – 12:00 p.m.
1:00 – 4:00 p.m.
Cadets are reminded that they are to be in full uniform (cadet parka and black gloves if needed – if you do not have a parka it is suggested you layer up underneath your uniform) and to ensure they act in a manner that reflects positively on both the cadet program and the Royal Canadian Legion and considers the importance of Remembrance Day and the symbolism of the poppy.
Cadets are to report to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 4 (383 Morningstar Avenue) where the Legion Poppy Coordinator will assign them a location. Cadets will be in pairs at each location. Parents will be required to drive cadets to and from their locations. A member of the squadron staff will be there at the beginning and end of each shift.
Positioning of Poppy on the Uniform and Jacket
A reminder to all parents to attend the Squadron Fall Annual General Meeting of the Parents Sponsoring Committee tonight. It will be held in the Administration Trailer next to Building # 1 at the airport. Drop off your cadet and come over to listen to what the Committee is doing for the squadron, meet other parents and have some refreshments and goodies.

It was noted that the dress for Wednesday, November 2 is C-2 with poppies. Wednesday, as was previously announced, will be mandatory physical fitness training. Cadets are to be in appropriate fitness attire with proper footwear and have a water bottle. Pleased be reminded that participation in physical training is a requirement for promotion.
