4. Call for Parent/Guardian Involvement

The Squadron Sponsoring Committee (SSC) is looking for more parent/guardian involvement within the committee. The SSC is our official local rep of the Air Cadet League of Canada, and is an equally necessary component to running a local unit.

The committee is made up of parent/guardian volunteers and is charged with fundraising, maintenance of the building, and screening new members to name a few of their many responsibilities. The SSC works hand-in-hand with Canadian Forces members in ensuring the Air Cadet program is run effectively, and in making sure your cadets are well taken care of.

Parents/guardians interested in learning more about the SSC and/or volunteering their time and giving back to an AMAZING organization are encouraged to attend the next SSC General Meeting on Wednesday, April 3rd at 1830hrs.

Enjoy your week everyone;

Lt C. Bowman
Commanding Officer
