OPC Tickets are Back, and Online – Early Bird April 1

Air Cadet OPC Lottery!  $70,000 in cash prizes to be won!

Hello Cadets and Cadet Families,

The Air Cadet League of Canada, Ontario Provincial Committee Lottery has returned for 2021, but with a new twist!

As many events have this year, the OPC Lottery sales has moved on-line.

For 2021, the lottery has $70,000 in cash prizes to be won, including an early bird draw on April 1, and a Grand Prize draw on April 30 of $20,000.

In a more traditional year, cadets pre-purchase a book of tickets and then sell them to friends and families to re-coup the cost of the tickets.  The advantage of the online sale, the tickets are purchased and paid for directly on-line, so no money needs to be paid out or collected by the cadet!

So here is the challenge!  87 Eagle Squadron, as a whole, needs to sell 250 tickets.  If we reach our goal, the squadron’s portion of the proceeds will be nearly $1200!  If we exceed our goal, that’s even better!

Even though we have had no in-person meetings this year, we still have to maintain the hall, and, hopefully, there will be some opportunity to get together before the training season ends, so the funds are truly needed.

I will also be providing weekly updates on the ticket sales, so we can all track how we are doing, as a Squadron, to reach our goal.

How do you buy a ticket?

Simply follow the link below to buy your ticket on-line!

So how do we sell the tickets?

  2. Share the link to the Facebook post on the 87 Eagle page.
  3. Share the link on your personal social media pages.
  4. Email all your friends and family to let them know about the Lottery and encourage them to buy a ticket (or 5!). (Use the sample email below, or write your own)
  5. Be sure to use the link https://aircadetlotto.5050central.com/?olc=87 – so 87 Eagle Squadron is credited for the sale

Working together as a Squadron, I am sure we can reach our goal and have some fun at the same time.
