Gliding on April 15th moved to April 23rd

Good afternoon,

Please note: We have received notice that the April 15th gliding date (from the April MROs) has moved to April 23rd.

We will have an “chance to fly” sign up sheet out this week. Please have your cadets sign up if they are interested, have never flown before, AND know they are 100% available for the date.

We have a very limited number of seats available for Spring gliding. All cadets that sign up that have good attendance to mandatory training will be entered into a draw for a chance to fly. We are hoping to have a much larger number for Fall gliding, and will be prioritizing cadets that have never flown before again.

Any parents/guardians with questions, please feel free to contact myself directly,

Update for Tagging Saturday

All;

Level 1 Cadets

All Level 1 cadets that are staying at the Seaway Mall: please arrive at 0930hrs. The morning shift will be 0930-1200hrs. All other cadets will still be tagging from 0800-1200hrs.

Level 2 and up Cadets

We are looking for more cadets for the morning shift, specifically older cadets that can go to other locations than the mall. Saturday is an important day for tagging, and it is important to have full coverage at all grocery stores as the public prepares for Sunday. Cadets that stay all day will have lunch provided.

Feedback from the Public

We have received some fantastic feedback from the public in regards to the professional behaviour of our cadets. Great work! Remember; you are in uniform and the public is watching. Keep it up!

Thank you all,

Capt C. Bowman
Commanding Officer
