Looking for Volunteers this Saturday

Good afternoon all,

We are looking for youth Volunteers to assist this Saturday 19 August 2023. The COPA organization is holding in Hangar 4 a Discovery flight day for youth that would like to know more about how Airplanes Fly. Time: 1000 – 1600 hrs

Location : Cadet Hall

Dress: Squadron t-shirt or Navy blue shirt

Lunch: provided id you stay the whole day

CAP Program Questions

Good afternoon everyone,

We have had a few parents reach out about CAP questions. Hopefully this helps!

CAP Level 1

17-20 August 2023

Please note there is no bus from Welland this year, drop-off and pickup will be at Lake St. Armoury.

  • Who: See your Offer of Participation Form
  • When: Starts this Thursday Aug 17 to Sunday Aug 20
  • Timing: 8:00am – 4:00pm
  • Drop-off: Lake St Armoury, 81 Lake St, St. Catharines, ON L2R 5X3
  • Dress: FTUs (if you do not have FTUs, or if they do not fit, wear cadet appropriate civilian wear with running shoes)
  • Lunch: Provided
  • Bring:
    • Ontario Health Card;
    • Water bottle;
    • Offer of Participation;
    • Prescription Medication (if needed);
    • Prescription Eyewear with protective strap (if needed);
    • Medical Alert Identification (if needed);
    • Over-the-Counter Medication (if needed);
    • Cash (approx. $20);
    • Code of Conduct (print and sign); and,
    • Medication Form (print and sign).

This is for those cadets that will be attending CAP 1 or 2. Below you will find the Joining Instructions alongside the Schedule and a map with the location of the CAP site. Each cadet is to print and complete the Cadet Code of Conduct to bring on your first day of CAP.

Asking for Volunteers

Good day all,

I hope everyone is having a great summer so far! Capt Burgoin has asked our squadron to assist in assembling 12,500 SJA Kings Coronation Pins that need to be placed in presentation cards. I am looking for 20 cadets to volunteer this Saturday for about 6-8 hours. Lunch will be provided. If you are available can you please send me message on teams!

Thank you to all that came out last Saturday for the Jump start / BBQ / car wash. Rob stated that he was very proud for the turn out and it was the highest single day fundraiser!! Coming to a grand total of $10447.00. Bravo Zulu ! This is a great partnership with in our community and Canadian tire!
