Upcoming Reminders

As the Easter long weekend approaches we wish to remind our Air Cadet families of our Tagging fundraising event.  

Dates

  • Wednesday March 27, 2024 (5 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. approximately)
  • Thursday March 28,  2024 (5 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. approximately)
  • Saturday March 30, 2024 (8 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.)

Home base – Seaway Mall (office above main entrance)

All cadets must sign up and participate in 3 of the 4 shifts posted. Saturday morning and afternoon participation would be greatly appreciated.

First Aid Team Reminder

CONGRATULATIONS to all First Aid Team members who competed in this past weekend at the St John Ambulance ~ Ontario Medical First Response Zone Competition, and THANK YOU to all Cadets who volunteered to be casualties.

REMINDER that the entire First Aid Team is now on a well earned 2 WEEK BREAK.

Our NEXT Training Night is after March Break on MONDAY, MARCH 18TH!

Enjoy you “downtime”, when we regroup in 2 weeks, we will start the planning for your “Dynamic Display” at our upcoming Annual Cadet Review in May, which every team member will be part of! This is your opportunity to show your families all the new skills you’ve learned since this year.

Good morning all,

for those who are competing in todays first aid competition the meet time is at 10 am. And for those who are volunteering please meet at the cadet hall for 0900 hrs.

Due to the weather forecast today’s Cadet night is cancelled. Be safe everyone! If anyone is interested in participating as a casualty for the First aid competition this saturday, please send me a message on teams tonight.

UPDATE: Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum Trip

NOTE: Due to space restrictions ONLY the 48 Cadets who signed up by this past Wednesday cut-off are permitted to attend. Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate any last minute requests.

Drop-off & Pick-up Location: Notre Dame Collage School, Welland
Departure Date / Time: Saturday, February 24th, arrive no later than 0745hrs for briefing. The bus will depart at 0800hrs.
Pick-up Time: We will depart CWHM between 1500 – 1530hrs with an expected return time of 1630hrs at Notre Dame Collage School.
Dress: Issued Field Training Uniform (greens) with issued headdress (beret or wedge). If you do not have FTUs wear appropriate civilian attire (dress pants with a collared shirt, no logos).
What to bring:
1) Refillable water bottle
2) Small Snack
3) Coat (it will be cold Saturday)
4) Pocket money for a souvenir or snack, your $10 deposit will be returned during this trip, and lunch will be provided to all cadets at the museum for FREE.
5) Pencil / pen, as you will be given a worksheet to fill out during this trip.
