Hello Cadet Families,

The countdown is on.  We are in need your assistance. Purse Bingo is scheduled for November 8, 2024.

Our goal is to sell 26 tables of 8 participants.  We have 15 tables left. So spread the news!

As of today, we are still in need of;

Designer Purses (one donate so far)

Penny Sale Prizes (five prizes donated so far) and Main Raffle Prize.

If you can help or donate a penny sale item or designer purse, please see Natalie Foster.

Natalie will be available to chat or accept designer purse fundraiser donations during our Thanksgiving Tagging event held on Thursday October 10 (5-9 pm) or Friday October 11 (5-9pm) and Saturday October 12 (8 am – 4 pm).

Together we can make this cadet year special and one to remember.

Thank you to all parents who sent chips with their cadet on September 25, 2024. We collected just shy of 30 bags of chips.  So, we are half way there.  For those who forgot please bring your bags of chips this week.

How can you support the 87^th Eagle Squadron?

• Promote the Purse Night event – share on Facebook please. We have seven tables sold so far. Nineteen more tables to go.
• Donate your time on Friday November 8, 2024
• Actively participate by purchasing a table at our fundraiser ($320.00 per table of 8 participants).
• Recruit event financial sponsors or make a donation
• Donate a Designer Purse (Kate Spade, Michael Kros, Coach, Etc.)
• Donate a Penny Sale Item (if able to donate an item please see Natalie Foster before October 15, 2024).

The 87 Eagle Squadron Sponsoring Committee is holding a Purse Bingo Fundraiser on Friday November 8, 2024, at the Welland Legion and we are in need of your support.

How can you support the 87^th Eagle Squadron?

• Promote the Purse Night event
• Donate your time on Friday November 8, 2024 from 2 – 11 p.m.
• Actively participate by purchasing a table at our fundraiser ($320.00 per table of 8 participants).
• Recruit event financial sponsors
• Donate a Designer Purse (Kate Spade, Michael Kors, Coach, Etc.)
• Donate a Penny Sale Item (if able to donate an item please see Natalie Foster before October 15, 2024).

The Squadron Sponsoring Committee has also requested each cadet bring two bags of chips on Wednesday to aid in our fundraising efforts.  All unused bags of chips will be returned to the squadron for use at future cadet events.

Reminder that the Squadron Sponsoring Committee elections are happening this Wednesday from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. All parents are welcome to attend. The meeting will be inside classroom 3.

In partnership with Carmichaels Meats we are running a dry meats fundraiser. Peppertrees, Mini Salami, & Beef Jerky EACH ITEM IS $10.00.

We ran this fundraiser before with good results. The Quality of the Product is excellent.

The Orders goes in September 02 @ 11:00 am, With a pick up date of September 06, 2024 4:00-7:00 PM. Orders with payment, can be submitted to Rob Foster at the Canadian Tire Welland Service Center. September 06, 2024 pick up will also be at Canadian Tire Auto Service Center. The Squadron Makes $3.00 from each item sold.
